Does your local group want to have David Lawrence present a day of rope workshops? If the answer to this question is yes, then here is your opportunity.
David Lawrence will be touring the USA in 2012. He is setting up dates now with groups across the country.
Here is how it works;
1. A minimum of 20 people from the local community purchase reBOUND, Shibari Style Impressions in advance. These copies will be shipped to you prior to the weekend and will be signed in person.
2. Travel & Lodging Expenses will be covered by the group hosting David for the weekend. The weekend would include Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
3. A special Friday evening meet & greet will be set up for those who purchased reBOUND which will give David an opportunity to sign each copy and chat with the people who purchased them. A 2 or 3 hour class will then be made available for all who want to stay and participate.
4. Saturday will be a day of rope classes. There will be 2 classes. One for beginners and Intermediate riggers and the other a more advanced class. The specifics will be worked out in advance with the organizers from your community. The classes offered will be designed to support the education of the people in the local community.
5. The cost of the workshops will be determined by the local community organizers. David will contribute back to the community the entire registration fee. The funds can be used for community outreach and support and/or donated to a local charity. This is David’s way of giving back to the community.

David Lawrence 2 Day Photography Intensive Weekend Workshop
This is an intense interactive photography workshop featuring David’s innovative style of using light, composition and artistic expression to create dynamic and erotic imagery. He will share his knowledge, experience and thoughts on how to use each aspect of photographic technique broken down into 5 sessions. Each session is an educational opportunity in itself and in combination becomes a powerhouse opportunity to expand your knowledge and capabilities as a photographer/artist.
This is a fun-filled educational weekend where acquiring knowledge and expertise is the key to success. Expand your vision and capabilities and register today for this dynamic workshop. Have you ever wondered how to shoot at night and maintain greater depth of field? Do you wonder how to have total control of your environment while including people in your images? David’s methodology will teach you to accomplish that. This class will be presented on location and will give participants an opportunity to work with the techniques and methodology that are presented. This is a must for any amateur or professional who is inspired by the night. Imagine, shooting at 100 ISO, f-10 to 22 at exposure times from 5 to 120 seconds or more. Achieving results under these conditions takes a solid understanding of the technique. You are invited to add this challenging class so your night photography will explode in artistic and technical excellence.
A camera with full manual control capability, a tripod, cable release and off camera lighting will be required for the City Lights Series class. If you have additional portable strobes, bring them along. David will talk with you about radio control/transmitters & receivers.

Photography Mentoring Programs
Sharing knowledge is the responsibility of all professionals. Whether you are new photographer or a seasoned professional growth is always possible. My personal credo is that you are only as good as your last photograph. This has led me to the concept of mentoring. Working with a mentor is a proven method that will assist you in achieving your goals as a photographer. I have developed a mentoring program over the past two years that offers three options providing a wide range of opportunities for everyone. Each course will be designed to fit the individual’s current base of knowledge. I will cover areas that will support consistent growth and stability in producing quality and artistic results. For those that have Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 2 I will also work with you on post production techniques that I have found to be useful.
The 6 week program will cost $900.00, an 8 week program at $1,100.00 and the 12 week program will be $1,600.00. Each week I will provide 4 hours of telephone support, assignments with assignment review, portfolio review and directional support. It all starts with a conversation to determine your current status as a photographer. I will then work to develop a plan of action so that you reach the goals you have dreamed of attaining. One on One Photography Workshop:
This workshop is a hands on workshop where you will be working directly with David, his assistants and models. The direction of the workshop is custom designed to fit your own personal direction for growth as a photographer and artist. Timelines, days and costs will be determined after speaking with David. This is the best opportunity for major leaps in your photographic knowledgebase and skills enhancement. The average that has been paid for this workshop is $150.00 per/hour with a 3 hour minimum plus expense.

Getting Down and Dirty with Your Rope Play This class is all about creating strong connections with your partner. All to often we forget the connection when tying our partners. This class explores creating and heightening the experience of the bottom and of course the top in the scene. How to open up the lines of communication both verbal and non verbal to allow for HOT~ HOT~ HOT playtime with rope. Is there a sexual component in rope play? We’ll explore that too!
Breast Bondage Simplified with a Twist Taking basic breast harnesses and tweaking them on the fly….this class explores how to take some basic breast harnesses and tweaking them on the fly which opens up your mind to exploring something more creative in breast harness design and functionality. There are so many variations to explore…just be open to start with a solid foundation and let your mind and creative spirit take over….you will be glad you did…
Suspensions Fundamentals for the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced riggers To include inverted suspension and the waist harness I designed, sideways and face down….this will include starting with a partial and safety aspects associated with suspension. During this class I will break down the fundamentals of safe suspension techniques that enable the Beginner to understand and explore their first suspensions successfully…the Intermediate to expand their knowledge base…and the Advanced to fine tune their abilities with sound fundamentals…this is a hands on class and all participants will be able to work through at least one suspension with guidance and support from me.
Rope, Hot Wax and more Rope and hot wax are one of my favorite combinations to play with at home…the combination or rope and wax adds a dimension to play that is beyond exciting…it is TITALLATING!!! Come and join me for a class demonstration and discussion on how to include hot wax in your rope play. Want to know how to remove the wax from your ropes? I will share with you my tried and true method…it works every time…this class it hot and sensual with a BDSM twist.
Freestyle Styling with Rope Exploring how to just go with the flow creating one of a kind ties that are fun, artistic, functional and binding. There is no rhyme or reason to the ties other than what is in your creative mind. Knowing the basics of anatomy is important and the basics of how to support the bottom with safe wraps.
Ties for Two A rope workshop for kissing couples and partners. We will explore hands on tying for the sensual expression and enjoyment between two people. This exploration will involve a discussion touching upon such topics as trust, connection, the space that rope provides to the top and bottom and how vulnerability opens the door to magical results. For the riggers in this workshop we will share knowledge with you that will enable you to go with the flow of a rope scene that completely mesmerizes your partner and visa-versa. For those who have yet to bring rope into your play together or who have shared this magical connection this workshop will inspire you to new heights. Come on and join us!

Breast, waist and body harnesses This workshop explores several breast, waist and body harnesses (karadas) and how they can be combined to create more intricate ties. The thrust of this concentrates on the artistic expression of the rigger. In addition to the aesthetics of rope I will talk about and share some ideas on how to maintain spontaneity in tying.
Needed for workshop: 4 to 6 30 foot lengths and a partner.
An Explorative Evening of Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage
This is a great opportunity to work with David Lawrence on your Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage fundamentals, techniques, knowledge and creativity. There will be two sessions presented. Each session will be 2 hours and will cover a wealth of topics and information supportive for your development as a rigger and rope bottom. 6:30 to 8:30 PM ~ Session I
In this session the basics will be explored and reinforced. A good architect starts a design with a solid foundation. Solid rope bondage also starts with a good foundation. Come and learn about the foundations that will support you growing as a rigger and rope bottom. David will cover, breast/chest harnesses, waist/hip harnesses, single and double column ties, ankle to thigh ties and wrist to bicep ties. In the last 30 minutes of this class David will show you how to put it all together into a cohesive and functional tie.
This class is a must for the person new to rope bondage and those interested in honing their fundamental skill sets.
Requirements for this class are, 4 to 6 lengths of 5 or 6 mm 30 foot rope (preferably jute or hemp), safety knife or EMT Shears, a rope bottom, and a desire to learn and enjoy…
9:30 to 11:30 PM ~ Session II
In this session David will take you on a journey through the dynamics of floor work, partial suspensions, full suspensions and some of the more extreme Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage techniques he has infused in his style.
At the very beginning of this class David will engage with the participants to understand what the overall interest is and the concentration of the class will be geared towards that interest. The participant will be required to bring 6 to 8 lengths of 5 to 6 mm 30 foot rope (preferably jute or hemp), a rope bottom, safety knife or EMT Shears, a desire to learn and a commitment to enjoying what you are doing.
This class is for the intermediate and advanced rigger and your rope bottoms. Beginners are welcome and should be prepared to move quickly through the various aspects of this class.
